BURNING IS ALLOWED FOR PILES AND OPEN BURNING WITH A VALID PERMIT

Pile Burning in Oak Creek Fire Protection District is open for Fall 2024-Spring 2025 as conditions allow. You must have a valid district-issued permit and it must be an approved burn day.

RECREATIONAL BURNING IS ALLOWED

Recreational burn permit holders are allowed to burn per their assigned burn permit. If you are going to burn please follow the directions per your burn permit.

Slash Pile / Open Burn Permits

Slash Pile/Open Burning is currently allowed for permitted residents. Permit holders must follow all rules and regulations listed on their permit, and ensure it is an adequate burn day. All issued permits expire April 1st 2025. Residents wishing to burn slash piles MUST reapply each season for an updated burn permit.
