BURNING IS SUSPENDED FOR PILES AND OPEN BURNING AS of 4/1/2025
All Open Burning Permits (piles and broadcast) issued by OCFPD have expired as of 4/1/2025 due to current snow melt and prolonged drying trends.
If your property still has sufficient snow coverage and you still need to burn you may contact the fire district for a possible extension of your burn permit.
YOU MUST CONTACT THE FIRE DISTRICT FOR AN EXTENSION - NO EXCEPTIONS.

RECREATIONAL BURNING IS ALLOWED
Recreational burn permit holders are allowed to burn per their assigned burn permit. If you are going to burn please follow the directions per your burn permit.
